We want to turn developing story we've been following. Three men on the run, two of them, accused murders. And reports they assaulted a guard as well. Zachary kiesch with the manhunt. Reporter: Tonight, an urgent manhunt. Police in South Carolina frantically trying to track down three fugitives. These individuals are dangerous. Reporter: Authorities say the prisoners, all charged with violent crimes attacked a guard and broke out of this detention center southeast of Charleston late Saturday night. Our officer was assaulted at the jail. I think during the assault, they had already apparently had this planned. Reporter: Overnight, law enforcement, suiting up and scouring the area. Helicopters searching from high above. Christopher boltin, accused of carjacking, Curtis green and tyshon Johnson, wanted for murder. All three were in lockup, and waiting to go to trial. Police now saying the manhunt extends beyond South Carolina. We just advise people to be vigilant and to make phone calls. Call us if they see or hear anything.
