We move on tonight to that miracle baby millions have seen. And we're now hearing from the officer who helped save the newborn found in a plastic bag in theed woos. And the audio tonight. What he says as he cradles her in his arms. Here's ABC's Steve osunsami. Oh, look how precious you are. Reporter: The Georgia sheriff's deputy seen and heard in this heartbreaking police body camera video is speaking his truth tonight. Yeah, she's a sweetheart. She's a sweetheart. Reporter: Saying that the newborn baby he discovered abandoned in a plastic grocery bag in suburban Atlanta is a living miracle. I wanted to give her comfort. A little bit later, I realized that it was the first time she had ever felt love and I felt honored to be able to give her that. Reporter: It was a miracle, he says, that the family who lives nearby came home at the right time and came back outside, thinking they heard what sounded like a baby.
