Jennifer, thank you. Next to miracle survival of two little girls who went missing. Just 5 and 8 years old, triggering a massive search. And the clues that helped bring them back home. Marci Gonzalez is in California. Reporter: Tonight, it's being called a miraculous ending to a desperate search. The girls, ages 8 and 5, missing for nearly two full days after wandering from their northern California home, finally found safe tonight. It was a huge relief. And we're just so thankful and elated that, again, they were found. To have an outcome, a positive outcome like this, is absolutely amazing. Reporter: Search crews using canines and a helicopter, scouring the thick woods near their home, following wrappers and got footprints. Discovering the girls nearly a mile and a half away from their home. This is an extreme environment. How they were out there for 44 hours is pretty amazing. Reporter: Their mother talking briefly to reporters by phone, sharing her relief and gratitude. My girls were found alive, and I'm going to them now. I can't speak. Thank you for everything they did. Reporter: The girls were cold and dehide dehydrated, but otherwise okay. Marci, thank you.
