Finally tonight, the dog swimming alone, lost at sea. And his rescuers, "America strong". The coast guard received word of a dog in need of help. He had gone missing, they feared he was swimming at sea. Here, pup. Let's go, buddy. Reporter: And there he was. Cash the dog had been swimming for about a half an hour. He had been paddling alone. His family feared he was out there with no one to help him. Members of the coast guard, their phone going off. But it could wait. They were there to save the dog. Soon close enough to the boat, they reach down. They got him. Cash right there on top of the guardsman, shaking the water off. He was just fine, but a little shaken. The best person they've ever a member of the team describing the dog. He was happy to be onboard. He looked tired, he was out there a long time. Reporter: Soon after, 13-year-old cash back with his family. If they hadn't rescued him, we wouldn't have a dog. We're very grateful.
