Next tonight here, the bus drivers you trust with your child's life, so many of them dedicated every day. But tonight, the drivers caught on camera speeding, running red lights. ABC's linsey Davis, teaming up with your affiliate WJLA in Washington, D.C. For this investigation. Reporter: One after another, you see them. School buses running red lights. Sometimes traveling as much as 18 miles per hour over the speed limit. Often never even touching the brakes. The only thing they're breaking is the law. It's really shocking to see that. Reporter: This bus driver does it right in front of a police officer. And no hesitation here, as this school bus drives full speed ahead four seconds after the light turns red. It's happening all over the country. Ohio, Arizona, Maryland and new York. And in many cases, children were on board. Some drivers face stiff fines while others face suspension but experts tell us that children are still safer riding on school buses than in cars. They are 50 times more likely to get to school safely than if they were driving themselves or riding with friends.
