Now to the backlash against Wal-Mart this evening we reported here they are now closing more than a hundred stores across the country but this evening to families in one town. Saint Wal-Mart forced other businesses out and now they are leaving. ABC's Steve Olson Sami in North Carolina. In the tiny coastal town of oriental North Carolina they feel cheated by Wal-Mart they don't care about. You know rural America the town that can that tell us Rene Ireland Smith took us to what's left of her family's grocery store. That was forced to close in October after 45 years. Because it couldn't compete with wal mart's everyday low prices. She learned just two weeks ago that the Wal-Mart here is closing two we worked as a tailored for they got here that now we're bright and her anger is shared across America. 269. Stores are closing for business reasons. More than a hundred of them in our nation's smallest communities. Now have no nearby grocery stores or pharmacies in Fairfield Alabama city leaders wonder how they'll pay the bills. The Wal-Mart was 35%. Of the tax base.
