So, Jon, you made headlines during a recent debate when you called out senator perdue over his handling over the pandemic. Let's look at the clip. Perhaps senator perdue would have responded possibly to the pandemic if you hadn't been handling multiple accusations of insider trader. It's not just that you're a crook, senator, it's that you're attacking the health of the people that you represent. Perdue hasied any wrong and said the department of justice and the senate ethics committee cleared him completely. The FCC also. You seem to have rattled him. Is he going to do another debate with you before the run-off? You scared him I think. Y'all,e did not enjoy that at all. He canceled our next debate just hours after that and I just challenged him to three more yesterday. I'm ready -- senator perdue, if you watch "The view," I'm ready to debate. Come to a public forum, defend your record in office and let's hear your vision for representation of this state. Senator perdue hasn't held a public town hall meeting in six he feels entitled to this seat. This is the people's senate seat. The people will vote on January 5th to claim it. Even after pouring money into key races, $200 million in Kentucky and South Carolina, Democrats failed to flip several seats in the senate and even lost some in the house. It wasn't exactly the blue wave many of us expected. What did Democrats get wrong and what needs to change going Well, you'll have to forgive me for not having the national analysis. What I can tell you is what's working in Georgia. That's a relentless focus on how we get out of this mess. I mean, y'all asked me what I felt when I learned that President-Elect Biden won. This is hope. What felt was hope that we can get out of this crisis, not just the pandemic, but also this terrible head space we've been in as a country. The way our S spirit has been corrupted by the last four years of nonsense. We have an opportunity now to launch a new era for this country that can bring us back together. We can look out for each other again. We can make sure everybody can afford health care. We can makee that everybody has the opportunity to do DI any fieed work that pays a living wage. We can make sure everybody has access to health care and affordable housing. We can make sure every American has equal justice under the law regardless of race or class. That's the country we believe in as Americans. That's why my mother came here as an immigrant when she was 23 years old. She believed in that America. Let's build that America again. Let's make it better, stronger, more just and more prosperous. All right. Listen, our thanks to you, Jon ossoff. You come back any time to "The we love talking to you.
