We're going to bring out our next guest. She's been in the business for 20 years. You know her from movies like "Scary movie" and "Girls trip", one of our favorites. Now she's starring in a new movie, it's going to be one of our favorites too, it's called "Little", please welcome Regina hall. Hello. Hello. Thank you guys. Yeah, that's incredible. Incredible. That's incredible. We're happy you're here. Thank you for being here this morning. Oh, I'm excited to be here. Hi, mommy. My mom watches every day. I got to say hi to my mom. I like how you say mommy. Oh right, I'm on television. Hello, mother. Hello to mama. We're going to jump right into the movie. This movie, it is a body swap comedy. Yes. You play Jordan. You're 38 years old. Then you wake up and you're a teenager and that teenager is played by marsai martin who's 14 years old. I love marsai. She's so beautiful and just smart and -- but she's still a girl. You know what I mean? The amazing thing is, yeah, at 14 years old, she's the executive producer of the movie along with you. And she pitched it at ten. She pitched it at ten. She pitched it at ten years old. How is it working with the young powerhouse? She's a demon. No. I'm joking. No, she's -- you know what, you always marvel that she's that young and that professional. You know what I mean? I think to be able to work with someone who at 14 -- What were you doing at 14? Sleep or lying about something probably. I was trying to go see prince, you know what I mean? I was dying -- I was in love with prince. If you can go back to any age, what age would you be and why? Like any age? I have two. 20s because you can eat anything and I love to eat. And then 30s because you're just not as dumb. You know what I mean? You know what I mean. There's some wisdom. I like the 40s. Yeah. A very demanding boss. You guys want to see some of it? Be awake when I call. I don't know when you're going to call so when would I sleep? When I'm not calling. April, listen to me. I'm sad this morning. Oh, why? I have asked you 1,000 times to have my housekeeper Elaine -- Linda is her name, Linda. -- Put my slippers 53 centimeters away from the bed so when I hop out my feet can land on them. I mean, am I being unreasonable? Isa ray, having her -- Issa ray is also so incredible. I mean, she is so smart, so funny. Her timing, her wit, I mean, she was incredible to watch and to work with and, like, just the things that she's doing and creating. Listen, with those two I should never stop working. I need a job, it's incredible. The whole cast and crew, almost all black women in front of the camera and behind the camera. That's a real game changer itself. Yeah. Shutout to Tina Gordon who was our director. She was also amazing. And will packer and James Lopez. But you, Isa and marsai were on a panel together and you said you want to become a beacon of light and hope for people who may not have seen the things you see. What do you mean by that? A lot of times life comes from what you're exposed to and sometimes people aren't exposed to ideas or belief systems or opportunities that you have and you want to be an example. I mean, at 14 years old for marsai maybe she's giving someone who didn't think that was possible that vision so that they can imagine the things that they couldn't imagine are possible. That's well put. It's all about that. I have to say, I know it's -- you get this all the time, you are Regina hall. You are not Regina king. You are Regina hall. It's true. We love egina king too. But you talk about how you get confuse. We get confused all the time. I got confused at the indy spirit awards and I was nominated and they were like, are you excited for the oscars tomorrow? I thought maybe he just wants to know if I want to watch. And he said no, how does it feel to be nominated. I was like, she just went, Regina king. But I do love Regina king. The one thing we are excited to watch is "Little." It hits theaters tomorrow. Are you going to take your girls? My girls, I'm going with them or without them.
