Joining us the host of the show to tell us what we can expect, so excited to have tishina Arnold and Tisha Campbell. Thank you for having us. Okay, so you guys are back hosting the soul train awards again this year. Third time is a charm. What are you looking forward to? How has it been? Good. Ti. You know what, we usually do a theme every single year in the opening and so this year we wanted to express our and honor African-American women because really came through this year and so we do this big -- we always do an opening and I think what's the big difference is that, you know, we have to be covid conscious so instead of having 20,000 in our audience we have about 20 and everybody is like distanced out and but we still didn't want to have a virtual show, you know, we didn't want that look so we still have a live audience and that's where me and tichina do the best. We want to talk about covid and speaking of food and folks at home during the pandemic, I understand that you enjoyed a covid cupcake or two? Well, yeah. I'm all for it. I'm here for split let it out. No, I was baking a lot and, you know, I have to cut down on that for health reasons, but, you know, I have to bring that down, all the way down but, you know, a couple, you know, on screen a little bit. It's nice and -- It's all good. Don't be shy. Don't be shy. It's all good. We're all is there with you on that. Issues. We've been talking about that every day. Same thing, that's what happens in quarantine. It stays in quarantine, except of course when it's on "Gma." I built a gym in my garage and so now I'm really on it because I'm trying to be more health conscious and if we get locked down again. Perfect, perfect. We've all been doing the exact same thing as well. Last year you both came out in marching cat suits. Where did that idea come from and is there anything that we should expect this time around? Well, we produced the show so try to be conscious of what the current events are but we also try to pretend like our bodies still look good so we do the bee can at being as sexy as possible but, you know, the sexy left a long time ago so we like to have fun. But we just want to have fun and we want to be able to commit to what it is that we're doing and like she said this year, it's about the year of the woman so we are both dressing, you know, you know, nice outfits, I would say but definitely outfits that we have to hold our stomachs in. You know, sometimes -- hey, I think you're still bringing the sexy. Doing better than some of us in covid who had more than a couple cupcake. It's all good. We're celebrating all types of bodies. All types of women. All types of colors. Listen, it's the year of feeling better about yourself no matter how you look, if you feel good about yourself that's all that matters. We've been through a rough year. And so, you know what, we wanted to E year with just a celebration and that's what soul train awards is, you know, we can get the best of the best and we honor them. You know. R&b music makes the world go round. We are so looking forward to seeing you guys on the soul train awards. Thank you guys so much for being with us this morning. Thank you for having us. Thank you for watching. The 2020 -- Tell everybody tune in. We will, we will, the 2020 soul train awards are Sunday night at 8:00, 7:00 central on B.E.T.
