Transcript for Michael Strahan remembers Katherine Johnson
not a movie it's a wedding. It's fine. I want to give condolences to Katherine Johnson, the mathematician who inspired "Hidden figures." She passed away at 101. A great life. So many contributions to society and everything that we know now, "Hidden figures" opened the eyes of so many including myself. As a woman watching I saw her as a woman and I know that the double hit that she was a woman of color who couldn't even use the bathroom at her workplace. So when you watch that. I was reading up on her because I found her fascinating. There wasn't even a public school to go to, so her parents enrolled at a special school on campus at 14. She graduated summa cum Laude from college. Without adversity she was brilliant. Now add to that the hurdle she was jumping every step of the way it's mind blowing how amazing. Talk about living a good life. Katherine Johnson. Sara, quickly, I want to, you know found out something out. I found her greatness, I want to see when her birthday was, her birthday is the same as keke palmer's. Michael's jealous. The woman is a Virgo. Michael is not jealous, you two are virgos. Every person that comes up here as a guest, they ask, what sign are you? We have great people of all signs. No, no. We just made an enemy in the front row. I'll take it back. Scorpios are fighters. Those are fighting words. Aren't they?
