If you're a fan of bluey you've seen a blue healer dog talk. Have I found my voice. But if you want to hear a real blue healer speak, meet Christina hunger's dog Stella. Hunger says she communicates using buttons like this one. So Stella has a board that has 48 different buttons. And she'll press a button down and it says the word. And Stella actually combines words together to create her own unique phrases too. Stella didn't learn this overnight T came from an observation by Christina, a speech language pathologist when she was just a puppy. I just realized how much she was already communicating with us and how many of the skills that she was demonstrating were actually the same as the skills toddlers demonstrate right before they start saying words. After weeks of trying to train Stella to communicate with no luck. Hunger believes she had a breakthrough. I was just thrilled because if it worked with one word, you know, what could be next? Now Stella able to communicate with 48 words. Answering questions. Yes. And even telling Christina how she feels. And Christina is sharing their story in a new book "How Stella learned to talk." I love her so much. You know, her communication is so special. But I love who she is. And we do too. "How Stella learned to talk" is available right now.
