The final visitors here have just been allowed into the rotunda and in just a few hours, the former president will make his final departure from the capitol here in a ceremony that will include a special honor guard and 21-gun salute accompanied by his family, the president's remains will travel down Pennsylvania avenue passing by the white house as the procession travels through the city's main streets on its way across town up to you at the cathedral and are told crowds will come out to see him travel by even though it is bitterly cold here this morning, all of Washington, this city is on halt today taking a pause to remember this great statesman.
