explosive finale of "dancing with the stars." Take a look at the dramatic winning moment. The winners and new champions of "dancing with the stars" are -- kellie and derek. they flew all night to be here in times square and joined now by the winners, kellie and derek. whoo! The great runners-up, zendaya and I know my man val and mark and aly, congratulations to you too and, boy, jacoby and karina! wonderful to have you all here with us this morning. You too, tom. Oh, yeah, you too, tom. He's giving us the lowdown on what happened on the flight. So we all knew a little bit. Some cash changed hands. Congratulations to the champions and, kellie, I know your grandpa ken was there and i had the pleasure -- he loves the show. What was it like having him there and take home the mirrorball? It was so great. He talked me into doing the show. "Dancing with the stars," he's never ever missed an episode, a season and so he was really excited. It's going in his bedroom, he said. That's great. Kellie, freestyle was so fierce. We saw len do a standing "o" from len. Where did it come from? I don't know. It was sort of -- I feel it was like a missing ingredient with kellie right to the end and carrie ann said it, I'm missing your emotion, the connection with you and that stuck with me and for our finale I wanted to get that missing ingredient the emotion and kellie just tore down the walls and she was amazing. No question about that. You all had chemistry, the partnerships were just like magic and especially with you two and when you heard the judge say -- kellie reminded them of your sister. Super uncomfortable, yeah. It felt really weird. I had my hand around her waist and I was, oh. No, no, no. You know what, she really was so surprising because, you know, she's a country singer and that's what she does. She doesn't dance or do anything athletic and to see her come out there and do that, it was phenomenal and blew me away. I was really happy to be a part of bringing that out. We have a special message for you, kellie, take a look. You won, "dancing with the stars." I can't believe it. You've never danced a minute in your life and you've been doing this for 2 1/2 months and just won "dancing with the stars." That is crazy. I'm so proud of you. I love you so much and my l gift to you is this little fellow right here. Maybe we should call him tango because you really rocked the tank go. Let's be honest. where's my puppy? Where's my puppy? Got the accent down. Infectious. I can't stop talking like that. I don't know. Tom, not only did you have the pleasure of working with all these stars and the ones -- but the judges -- they were going at it, as well, the judges. Yeah, they had a few dust-ups this season. Didn't they? Yes. Here he goes. Here he goes. Flashing lights. Music. Do you feel like a referee sometimes. Yes, I wish I had a taser sometimes. No, no, no. Len. The cameraman had a moment there. He scared the cameraman on the show, I think. Len, that was -- that was incredible. I felt really uncomfortable. Like my parents were arguing. A great job, you do, of reining it in. Like a 2-year-old having a tantrum, you wait it out a little bit then you either put him in the corner. I just -- I think that night i said to len after he calmed down -- after he gave you the 7, I said I don't know you anymore. I don't know you. He was just -- he went a little bit -- you showed him. You showed him. All I did was -- I just, you know, worked on his car when he didn't know what was going on outside. Zendaya, you had all the little girls in america locked up. Two in our house and you're the youngest "dancing with the stars" finalist ever and so you still were able to teach val something on hip-hop. Just a little bit. Just a little bit. That was a great dance. That was an amazing dance. It was. Thank you. And you left a little mark there. You left your mark on him. I know that was hard for you too. I mean obviously because you had 14 stitch, right, val. Yes, I did. She was going for 16, one for every year but -- we danced 14 dances so -- 14 dances, 14 stitches. Oh, there you go. This is my memory. I'll be able to say for the rest of my life, you know, future grammy winner, oscar winner gave me this scar. Val, we got insight into your relationship with maks. We're brothers. I don't know if you guys knew that. I get upset. Like it's my fault, right, but i get like I was supposed to watch after him or something like that. And when something goes wrong with you, what happens to me? Same thing, but I don't let anything go wrong with me. Bro, you're one big wrong already. You two have a really special relationship. You know, we're brothers. We're happy and we're single and we're -- had to throw that in, didn't you, val? Over to jacoby. Hey, hey there, jacoby, I can't believe that tom never brought up that we have something in common. That you were at south louisiana university, my alma mater, thank you very much. Before going to -- I'm not -- oh, I forgot about that part. Tulane was happy to have you. But the way you would jump over karina and the 10 paddle. Last night it was a little -- it was a little close there. I was like, ooh. Move over a little bit. I was like -- we still nailed it, though. You did. Were some of those leaps and bounds a little frightening there, karina? Yes, and very uncomfortable at times especially when he's like -- he's still sitting right there and you have to wait for him to say -- yeah. He knew what he was doing. There he goes. Morning show, morning show. Morning show alert. Get out of here! How are you feeling? Much better, thank you. No, I think it's scarier when it happens and you're worried about not being able to continue but it's all good now. Yeah. Hey, aly and mark, mark, all of you great choreographers but what you did and some of the dances that we saw, did the gymnastics background help a little bit for you, aly? I don't really think so. I mean I can't really count music at all because we were practicing on the plane last night. The most hilarious part watching aly trying to keep time. Yeah. Like -- it's so hard. I was saying, she's that person -- if we all clap, she's the that person that -- but I love you. You got so high up on those. Did you realize? Yeah, we realized. When we got to the dress rehearsal, I was like, oh, i asked if they could lower it. I didn't realize how high -- by the way, aly hated it when you referred to them as poles. What did you prefer? Vertical bars. Yes, yes, they weren't pole dancing. It was scary and, you know, i had -- I liked it. Technical way to it. It's very challenging but it was like a great workout. Look at that. I can't -- every time you see that. Well, congratulations to you all and thank you, such great sports, I mean, you haven't
