They say that this year's best moments horse was very simple. A basketball player merely stepping onto the court. But some steps more momentous than others more inspiring. More I forget him. And two dozen fourteen and eighteen year old young woman named Lauren hill was about to fill her lifelong dream. She's on her way to attending mount Saint Joseph university to play caused basketball. This yes and news that changed everything. Lauren had an inoperable brain tumor that was given less than two years to live. The news never got better in fact every day only got harder. But still Lauren never gave up when a jury in either when her condition advance and remaining on the team looked impossible. Last November she stepped down to the court in front of a sellout crowd. Of fans roared the readership. And Lauren live her moment. More passed away three months ago. But not before making sure that none of us would ever forget the biggest ever for life lose doubly welcome Lawrence parents Brent and lease a new. We are so wired to be here tonight. And we're so thankful to everyone who helped make Lawrence moment possible. As well as our yes canteen for telling Lauren stories the sports world. It's amazing how powerful just one moment can be. And Martin's case I think she reminded us that we're all vulnerable of being dealt a band hand. But Lauren also showed us through our determination. Courage strength. And faith. That no matter why it is possible to achieve your dreams. Learn season was about more than basketball it was about life lessons. And most importantly living in the moment. Now it's our responsibility to be her voice and carry on her mission and continue layup for a warrant. If she were here today standing on the stage she would ask you. Not to sit on events. Please don't weed and its leader personally affected. By cancer to start kicking cancers but. Get in the game now and make a difference in this moment and conceded to sport layup for alarm. All we have is now and I urge you to spend every moment. Making isn't memorable as you can. Nothing we be better tribute to Lauren and her spirit. A spirit that I hope he never ever forget.
