Next tonight, police investigating a woman posing as a baby photographer who allegedly drugged a mother and tried to steal her infant. Here's ABC's Marci Gonzalez. Reporter: Tonight, this woman and her daughter are in police custody after investigators say they posed as newborn photographers in a plot to try to kidnap a baby. Because she wanted a girl and she wanted them five weeks and younger so she could raise it herself. Reporter: Police say the suspect, 38-year-old Juliette parker, posted in a Facebook group for new mothers, offering free infant photography sessions to build her portfolio. Investigators say a single mom in Washington state took the bait, inviting parker into her home multiple times. The woman telling police during the third session, parker's 16-year-old daughter brought her a cupcake. Immediately after eating it, she says she became numb, drowsy and began vomiting. They put drugs in a cupcake, she ate it, and they attempted to take her kid. Reporter: That mother telling police that before leaving, parker took selfies with the baby, wiped her fingerprints off everything she touched and stole her house keys. Hi, my name is Juliette parker. Reporter: Parker, who ran for mayor of Colorado Springs just last year, later arrested at her home along with her daughter. Parker is now charged with attempted kidnapping and assault. Police say other women may have also been targeted, so, more charges could still be added. Tom?
