on the job coming through in a big way. It's "America strong." The first day of a new job can be stressful. Just check out this surveillance video of probationary firefighter Michael iacovello. We kept telling woman, breathe, breathe, push, push. Fresh out of the academy, working his first shift when a 911 call came in. A woman right across the street from the firehouse was in labor and the baby was in distress. Baby came out. Baby wasn't crying, which was kind of scary. Reporter: The quick thinking rookie and his fellow firefighters jumping into action. So we suctioned the baby and the baby started crying. Delivering a beautiful baby girl. I got to cut the umbilical cord as well. Not bad for first day on the job. That mother so grateful for his service. How are you? I'm good. Hi! I remember you! He was encouraging me. And then, like, he say push, and all that. Yes, he did a good job. For this rookie firefighter he says it was all part of his plan to come back and work in the community he grew up in and be part of the firehouse he always dreamed of. Since I can remember. 5 years old, maybe? The firehouse I'm at now, I grew up in the neighborhood, so I used to pass by it all the time. Now I'm part of it. A rookie no more.
