Going to show you more of it but do want to warn you, it is tough to see. Our will reeve with the story. Reporter: This morning an incredible survival story. A woman injured in this dramatic and deadly crash at Piedmont hospital in Atlanta. Now speaking out for the first time. I looked up from my phone. There was a red SUV coming towards me. Reporter: Kai Bailey reliving the terrifying moment from the end of June. The 29-year-old mother was tending to a friend in the emergency room sitting outside the er due to covid protocols. In an instant her life changed. Was running from the SUV not knowing the Mercedes was going to then go into the hospital as I'm running into the hospital. Reporter: Bailey breaking both hips and her pelvis unable to sit up or walk. She went to a rehab facility for an extensive boot camp. I've never endured so much pain in my life, not even -- like I said, I'm a mother. Not even childbirth could compare to the pain that I felt. Reporter: In a statement to ABC news Atlanta police saying the crash is still under investigation but at this time no charges are anticipated. I have never seen a case where there has been a death or a serious injury and the driver wasn't even given a citation. Reporter: Bailey plans to sue the hospital. But despite the struggle, Bailey says she's strengthened by the support from her family. Very difficult to actually, you know -- I enjoy being home with my family and friends and all my family stepped in to help me out. Reporter: Kai Bailey says she is thankful to all the doctors helping her and especially her mother who she is moving in with as she continues her recovery. Piedmont hospital told ABC news they couldn't comment on any pending claims or investigations. T.J. All right, will, thank you so much. Coming up next here on
