Exactly nine months to the day after seventeen year old Antoine rose it was shot while running away from a traffic stop. The former east Pittsburgh police officer who killed him. Is on trial it started this morning the jury based in Harrisburg will essentially need to decide whether or not this is murder. Or this was justified this morning we heard opening statements from the prosecution as well as the defense the prosecution. And decides that rose it was Chirac three times. As he was running away from this situation Ross felt defense attorney and decides that being a police officer is a dangerous. And important job and oftentimes requires split second decisions that defense attorney saying. That his client knew about it drive by shooting that had just happened knew that this was the vehicle involved that he had stopped and was doing what he could. To try and and a dangerous situation now the first witness was the forensic pathologist with the Allegheny County medical Examiner's office. He discussed those three. Gunshot wounds that Antoine rose suffered saying the one that killed him and heard his back. And lodged into his horror that direct examination has finished cross examination of the medical Examiner's office continues today.
